What is the meaning of Ascension? Jesus meets with his disciples and after commissioning them he is taken from them and disappears in the clouds. We often struggle to make sense of how to understand Jesus ascension. What does it mean that Jesus has now ascended into the heavens and is seated on the right hand of God as the creeds declare? This sermon looks at some of our misconceptions and challenges us to understand this story anew.
