Moses: In the Footsteps of the Reluctant Prophet

For those in the Central Florida area, First Presbyterian Church of Umatilla will feature a video series by Adam Hamilton, "Moses: In the Footsteps of the Reluctant Prophet" on Sunday, July 22 2018 in our Fellowship Hall. This series will be shown during our adult VBS program running through Thursday, July 26th. 2018. We will follow Adam Hamilton as he serves as a guide through video clips filmed on location in Egypt, the Nile, and the Sinai Wilderness, following the story of Moses and the Exodus.
I recommend the book, dvd, and leaders guide as a good introductory study of the life of Moses. One benefit of the video series is that Hamilton takes his viewers to locations in the story which helps to provide some geographical and social context, he also applies spiritual principles to our current social context in a compelling manner. The story of Moses is one of the most important foundational stories recounting of God's deliverance and redemptive actions taken in the history of humanity, setting the foundation for God's redemptive plan.
